How can I make my mannequin look more realistic with acrylic paint?
Hi
I am painting a mannequin head that will soon be put on a mannequin body, but I want it to look as realistic as possible.
It is supposed to be Marilyn Monroe.
I had originally put eye makeup on her as you will see in the first pic, but thought it looked too severe and got rid of it and added eyelashes.
I need tips especially for the eyebrows which could use some work. I want her to be musuem quality
Please don't make fun, she is my first mannequin. Also, the images and the mold are copyrighted so please don't steal them. Thanks in advance!
tighten up the lipstick line,
use gloss medium on teeth and eyeballs to make them look wet.
sand away the mold line better.
paint the shadows inside the ears
when you trim the false eyelashes, use the trimmings to create lower lashes
