Can my male dog get my female pregnant even tho he has been fixed?
My male boxer was fixed when he was 1 yr. One of the testicles had not dropped yet. He is now 8 years old and got "tied up" with my 3 year old (not fixed) female boxer. Is there any chance he can still get her pregnant?
If he still has the testicle that did not drop, then there is a chance he is still fertile enough to get a female pregnant. It all depends on if the vet that neutered him seven years ago went after the second testicle in the abdomen.
If he still has this testicle, while his fertility is decreased (probably very severely too), he still is able to breed and potentially get a female pregnant, not to mention being at an increased risk for testicular tumors!
