There is a random sharp pain in the back of my leg (hamstring, deep in the muscle)?

It feels like I am being stabbed or pricked by a big needle randomly when I sit on something. (or sometimes when I bend over or squat a certain way)

The pain is on my hamstring, but not very deep; so I can't imagine it is an injury to it.

There is no visual sign of any bruise or puncture.

It seems like there is a piece of fiberglass or big splinter, because the pain is so random(but I dont see anything)

It started 2-3 days after I lifted my legs (pretty strenuously for the first time in a long time)This was 2 days ago.

I can't consciously apply pressure or rub it and make the pain occur. It literally happens randomly (can hurt by sitting on something or even just leaning over and making no contact with anything)

I have no clue what is going on. If you have ANY idea, I would love to hear your input.

Thanks for reading all that.

I am a professional dancer so I understand so many injuries I might as well be a physical therapist(joke) but what you need to do is ice the area that hurts for at least an hour since this pain as been going on for days. After that take two Advil, Aleve or what ever pain medicine you are able to take, I would take the pain medicine twice a day only until the pain stops ( take the medicine within 6 hours from each other) after the medicine and icing I would rub the area with some type of muscle rub Icy Hot etc. After that releaxe try not to walk you should fell a lot better. If not see a doctor.
