Is it possible that one whole half of my body is more prone to gain muscle and become toned than the other?
I've been working out alot lately, doing curls, benchpressing, doing butterflies and leg lifts, and other workouts of that sort. I've been gaining muscle, but my left pec and arm is getting bigger faster than my right. And even my abs are becoming toned unevenly. The upper left two abs are becoming bigger than the right, and more lower stomach (the part I'm trying to make more flat) is becoming more flat on the left side than the right. Is it possible that one whole half of my body is just more prone to gain muscle and become toned than the other? If not, what could I be doing wrong? How can I even myself out, or should I just keep working out like normal and eventually I will even out?
Well, if you aren't focusing on the muscles individually (using a bar/pole lifting weights) then your stronger side will pull more weight (so to speak) to make sure that benchpress weight gets lifted. Work on the weaker side individually (dumb bell, machine with ways to work each side seperately).
