Hanging Plant That Will Survive Texas Heat w/ Minimal Care?
I need to find a plant that can hang from a hook and survive with minimal care. The hook underneath an awning that is in the shade for half of the day. I live in the suburbs of Houston. I'd like for this plant to be somewhat colorful and pleasing to the eyes. Right now I have I "Impasiens" which I water about once every other day, but they are looking like they are struggling. Let me know what would work well.
Impatiens prefer shade, so move the plant. Lantana, on the other hand, thrives in hot, sunny conditions, and can tolerate dryer soil.
