Jack's Mannequin Toronto tour date cancelled?
Ok, I saw that the Toronto tour date was cancelled on ticket master and I was wondering if anyone knew why?
After announcing the tour, Jack's Mannequin is rearranging a bunch of dates in order to make room for a summer tour with The Fray. From a statement posted on the Jack's Mannequin website:
"It is with sincere disappointment that I announce the partial rescheduling of dates for the upcoming Farther From Earth Tour. Postponing shows is something I hate to do, but when Jack’s received a last minute offer for a summer tour it was agreed that the opportunity justified the rearranging. The new plan will have us playing one month of the already scheduled Farther From Earth dates in April and May, followed by a two-month summer run with The Fray. We will then close out the fall with the rescheduled headlining shows we couldn’t play on the 1st leg."
I believe they intend to come to all of the locations that were originally planned, so they most likely will still come to Toronto, but I don't know when. If Toronto was one of the shows near the beginning of the tour, they will probably still play the show in April or May. If it was more towards the end, they probably won't come to Toronto until the fall.
The new final dates for the tour haven't all been announced yet, but you can look at this page on their site
