draping fabric on stand:?
I have been looking everywhere for a book or online help with draping jersey or a soft fabric on a mannequin. My searches most often come up with draping a jacket or a bodice on the stand rather than anything other but im talking more about dresses, with the detail put in from how you drape it, also if there is any info on putting knots in the fabric?
Knots? You're the designer, knot away.
IMHO, one of the best beginning draping books is Connie Crawford's Art of Fashion Draping. You might also want to look at Betty Kirke's book on Vionnet, though there are problems with the book. And if you can find them, there's Dawn Cloake's books, which are a bit more prescriptive:

You might also go to http://www.fashion-incubator.com and look up "draping", as there is a nice link to a couple of demonstration drapes. I think the title is "muslin never looked so good", but search "draping" also.
IME, draping with knits really needs to be done with the knit you're intending to use for the final garment... one knit never drapes quite like another, not even the same greige goods in a different color.
