is it normal process for pumpkin plants to begin looking shabby once they begin producing fruit?
This is the 1st year I've grown pumpkins. They looked really good up until about a 3 weeks ago. first one plant began yellowing along the veins of the leafs, then 2 other plants. Some of the leaves began dying (not all of the leaves, and some plants more than others). When this began happening pumpkins had been in production for about 3 or 4 weeks. The pumpkins are now oranging but I do not believe they are of full size. Also I fertilized them with plant tone about 2 weeks ago (plant tone is guarenteed not to burn). We have some bugs, but I don't believe it is a major problem. I was wondering If this sort of thing was the normal process or weather I have a problem? Thank you
The leaves furthest from the fruit will dye as more leaves develop. If the vine is green and strong, then the pumpkin will continue to develop. Do not over water. Turn the pumpkin ever so slightly every now and then to prevent a flat spot.

Wearing A Gem-Toned Prom Dress That Makes You Look Like A Million Bucks
When you are looking for your dream prom dress this year, consider a vibrant gem-toned dress! These dresses are gorgeous and will catch the eye of everyone at your prom guaranteed. Bright colors will bring out your eyes and make you stand out. Gem tones like ruby red, violet, emerald, and topaz never go out of style and you will be able to wow your friends when they see your amazing dress. Here are some tips to help you find that perfect gem-toned dress for your prom:
Shop Early
Gem-toned dresses are a classic and many girls will be trying to get their hands on their favorite one. Get out early and buy the one that suits you best before someone else manages to get their hands on it!
Shop Online
By shopping online you will be able to have a much larger variety of dresses to choose from. Make sure to properly measure yourself beforehand so you can get a great size. Also purchase insurance so you have nothing to worry about during shipping. Shopping online also makes very unlikely that somebody else will be wearing the same dress as you on your special night. This is a big plus!
Match Your Skin-tone and Eyes
This is one of the best things about gem-toned dresses. Ask friends and maybe go to a professional make-up salon or to your local stylist. Ask them what color compliments your complexion and eye color best. This will help you look like a million bucks on your special night!
Decide on Your Dress Design Early
Once you have decided on the color that you want to wear decide what kind of dress you are going to wear. Make sure you consult your prom's rules and do not wear anything that is not allowed. There are a lot of different styles out there so get looking right away!
Accessorize to Accent your Gem-toned Dress
Buy accessories that compliment your wonderful gem-toned dress. Jewelry goes especially well your gem-toned dress and sometimes you can play with different shades of the same color. For example, if you have a emerald gem-tone dress that you can wear a lighter green emerald necklace to make it pop and stand out. Everyone will be impressed!
Find a Nice Pair of Shoes to Match Your Dress
This is very important. Shoes can make or break your prom night outfit. Make sure they are comfortable (you will be wearing them all night!) and that they fit correctly. Once you have your dress go out shopping with your friend and find that perfect pair to complete your outfit!
Gem-toned prom dresses are going to make a big splash this year at prom. They have unique shades of the magnificent stones they represent and will make you look like a million bucks. Go out and find your perfect dress early and have a night to remember forever!
