Any chance of being a model?
I'm not talking about runway model, because there's no way I'd be able to do that with my height and body.
But maybe commercial, or cataloge, or SOMETHING.
I'm a teen about 5"3, most likely done growing, asian with big eyes, short thick muscular legs, long torso.
Kind of short arms, short wide feet.
Okay so pretty much everything from head to toe is completely opposite from what model agencies what probably.
But I'm not fat.
I've always had a desire to be a model, but from what I know I think that's a pretty hard dream for me.
People tell me I'm really pretty, but that's probably not enough, obviously.
I'm photogentic and I also do ballet and dance.
So, is there no hope as of right now?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and society is made of different types of people so models should represent society. In my opinion modeling is becoming less about looks and more about personality, attitude and reality- basically the way it should be. There will always be agencies that stick to traditional and sick looking breakable models but the successful companies have real women representing their products.
Get yourself a portfolio of photos and any other skills and attributes that will promote your ability to be a model and join an agency!

This particular problem can be solved easily by shopping online.

If you must have a dress that is not available in your size, buy the largest size! You could alter the dress if it is a size or two big for you but if the dress is small, you will need to go through the process of returning it.
ALTERATIONS:
No matter how careful you are to find a Prom Dress that fits you well... When your Prom is 2 weeks out you may need to consider altering your dress. We gain or lose weight, and this will affect how well your dress now fits.
So buying wedding gowns, graduation dresses, or unique prom dresses on the internet not only saves you money, but since it is likely you will need an alteration... it will ultimately prove to provide you with a better variety of choices, and help you save a ton of money as well!
