Racism/Discrimination, does it work both ways?
We're a multicultural society so how come things such as the nativity, bibles in hotels, etc. Slowing becoming things of the past to avoid causing offense.
There was recently a story in the paper, some black torso maniquins were hung by a black chain, with clothes on and people said it was offensive.
I don't walk into a store, see a headless maniquin and think that there's a political message behind it, i'm more interested in the way the clothes might look if i wore them.
Anyway, do you believe that we're making far too many comprimises to accomodate the immigrants coming into Britain.
If this applies to other countries please submit you're opinion.
[This is in no way derogitory to any race. I just think people should be left to live life their way and shouldn't be forced to comprimise.]
Obviously it's important to accommodate for those coming to a new country because that can't be easy, but it's important to prioritize the majority of the population, not the minority. The majority of people in the UK are not immigrants.
That story is PC craziness. There's always going to be someone who objects to anything. If they had been white mannequins hanging, someone would disapprove because it's not ethnically diverse enough.
So yeah, sorry if this didn't answer the question.
